TEARS OF STONE –  A New Film by IVOR PYRES

This artistic memoir of child Holocaust survivor, Cantor Estherleon Schwartz, inspires audiences to rise above their circumstances.

‘Tears of Stone’ is the poetic reflections of child Holocaust survivor, Cantor Estherleon Schwartz, who rises above hateful circumstances to emerge as a voice for peace and unity.

Estherleon persevered over a life stacked against her from her first breath and has been a creative voice for the unaffiliated who constantly seeks to bring peace and unity to the world. This artistic new documentary explores the evolution of a woman who rises from the ashes of hate and frames a very complex woman and multi-faceted artist in a bespoke context.  Director Ivor Pyres has creatively woven a digital memoir in a way that offsets a grim subject matter.

Based on the book, “Tears of Stone and my deal with God,” Pyres presents a rather linear journey through Estherleon’s life taking us through a tempest path evolving toward fulfilling her father’s wishes and her deal with God.
